Black History Month – PE Poster Competition

During Black History Month, October, we asked our students to be creative and submit poster entries for PE. We wanted to celebrates all the black sports people that have not only inspired us with amazing sporting accomplishments but have challenged racism and prejudice across the globe. The brief was to create a poster that about a black sports person who inspires you.  As you can see, we had some wonderful entries that portrayed the story of a number of different athletes/sports people from a variety of different sports. We have judged these entries and have awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Awards were given out in assembly and they can be seen below.
