Our curriculum nurtures both intellect and character, fostering empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of diverse perspectives and lived experiences. It equips students to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the wider world.
It is academically rigorous, purposefully designed, and coherently sequenced to ensure deep subject knowledge across a broad range of disciplines. KS3 Curriculum Overview
Students follow a 25-hour week and study a mixture of maths, English, science, French, geography, history, religious studies, art, technology, computing, personal development.
Through this broad and balanced curriculum students can expect to be introduced to many different ideas, disciplines and opportunities to flourish and progress, to build skills, knowledge and expertise. We want to all students to find their own areas of interest within each subject whilst addressing the core knowledge and skills they need to be successful.

KS3 Curriculum
At Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9), students will study the following subjects:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- History
- Geography
- Religious Education
- French
- Art
- Music
- Drama
- Physical Education
- Business Studies
- Computer Science
- Design & Technology – Resistant Materials, Food & Nutrition, Electronics
- PSHE – The “Edge”
KS4 Curriculum Overview
Students have 25-hour week and study a core programme of Maths, English, double or triple science, CORE PE and CORE personal development and either history or geography.
Students make their KS4 preferences in Year 9 and choose from a range of subjects from three blocks. Students’ preference blocks are designed to be as wide ranging as possible to help support students’ future carers, whilst also giving them the opportunity of exploring different ways of working through vocational subjects.

KS4 Curriculum
At Key Stage 4 (Years 10 – 11), students follow one of a range of flexible pathways which feature a wide range of academic courses including the English Baccalaureate.
All students will study the following subjects:
- English Language/Literature
- Mathematics
- Science
- Games (PE)
- Religious Education
The English Baccalaureate courses include:
- History & or Geography
- French
- Separate Sciences (Biology/Chemistry/Physics)
- Computer Science
In addition, students can choose from a full range of academic courses including:
- Business & Enterprise

- Food Preparation & Nutrition
- Child Development
- Music
