In-Year Admissions Information:
If you are looking to transfer your child to Erdington Academy, please complete and return the Birmingham Application Form for a School Change (In Year). You can return this by:
- Post
- Hand-Delivered to Main Reception
- By email: [email protected]
This would need to be returned to Erdington Academy with proof of address, either:
- Passport
- Birth Certificate
- Utility Bill (less than 6 months old)

Year 6 to Year 7 Transition at Erdington Academy
Starting secondary school is an exciting milestone, and at Erdington Academy we work closely with families and our partner primary schools to ensure every child feels confident, supported, and ready for the journey ahead.
Our transition programme is designed to help Year 6 pupils settle quickly by introducing them to the academy’s routines, values, staff, and learning environment before September.
