Religious Education

In R.E. students will experience the religions at the heart of Britain giving them the opportunity to reflect upon the experiences and the mysteries of life and the contribution of religious and spiritual dimensions. Students will develop a knowledge and understanding of the influence of beliefs, values and traditions on individuals, communities, societies and cultures. We aim to develop enquiring student who will be able to make reasoned and informed judgements about religious and moral issues, with reference to the teachings of the principal religions represented in Birmingham and the United Kingdom, thereby reflect upon and develop confidence in their own beliefs and values.
