Access Creative College
If you are planning on studying with /access Creative College in September, or are interested in the creative arts, they have collated some useful resources that will prepare you to study one of their courses in Music, Media, Games and Events!
LOGIC PRO X
If you are interested in recording music, you may already be familiar with Logic Pro, a DAW that we use in our college for our Music Technology courses. If you haven’t yet been able to give it a try, Logic Pro X has announced that it’s currently FREE for 90 days.
You can download the trial here. (Please note that you need a Mac to run Logic)
BandLab
If you don’t have access to a Mac, BandLab is a fantastic free online DAW that is also compatible with Windows, Android and IOS. You can even start making music straight from your phone!

HitFilm Express
Hitfilm is a free professional video editing software with VFX tools, so it’s perfect for budding filmmakers, YouTubers or those wanting to give video editing a go.

Photopea
A great free alternative to Photoshop. It’s Photoshop but online! All the same tools/layers, etc. and you can save the files as .PSD (Photoshop project files) which can later be opened in Photoshop!

Construct 3
Create games from your PC, tablet or even your phone with this free 2D Game Engine. We use this on our Games courses, so why not try it out before you start studying with us!

ACC VIRTUAL FESTIVAL
Since the cancellation of events and festivals, we decided to launch our own virtual festival! Our students, tutors and industry professionals have been providing workshops, talks and live performance which are free to watch on our Twitch channel.

BMET Open Virtual Events
Find out everything you need to know about studying with BMET in September, at one of their virtual open events.
Their virtual open events have been designed to give a real insight into college life and into specific subject areas. They have also built in an interactive section on all the events, so you can ask them anything you’d like to!
