14th September 2026
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are delighted to inform you that our first Enrichment Day of the academic year will take place on Tuesday, 29 September 2026. This special day is designed to offer students a variety of engaging and educational experiences beyond the standard curriculum, aimed at broadening their horizons and nurturing essential life skills.
The Importance of Enrichment
Enrichment activities play a vital role in fostering creativity, teamwork, resilience, and curiosity. Through workshops, trips, and hands-on sessions, students gain valuable insights and experiences that help shape their aspirations and build confidence. These opportunities support personal development and encourage a lifelong love of learning.
Exciting Opportunities for Students
This year, our Year 7 students will have the opportunity to take part in an exciting visit to Boundless Outdoors. This experience has been carefully selected to inspire curiosity, promote personal growth, and develop new skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
How You Can Support
To help make this day as impactful and inclusive as possible, we kindly request a voluntary contribution of £10 per student. This will go towards covering the costs of:
- Entry fees and workshop materials
- Transportation to and from venues
- Specialist facilitators and resources
- Ensuring all students can participate, regardless of financial circumstances
We understand that financial pressures can be challenging, and we are grateful for any support you are able to provide.
It is important that your child attends Enrichment Day, as it supports key areas of the Year 7 curriculum and provides valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom. Participation also contributes towards badge awards, recognising students’ commitment, personal development, and engagement with school life.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us provide enriching experiences that inspire and empower our students.
