Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to inform you that our upcoming Assessment Week will take place from Wednesday, November 5 to Friday, November 7. Students will however begin some assessments from this Wednesday during their normal timetabled lessons.
To support a calm and focused environment during this period, there will be an early finish at 2:30 PM for all students on Wednesday 5th November, Thursday 6th November, and Friday 7th November, with the exception of Year 11.
Please note the following adjustments for Year 11 students:
· Wednesday, November 5: Finish at approximately 2:40 PM, except Triple Science students, who may finish later.
· Thursday, November 6: Finish at approximately 3:00 PM.
· Friday, November 7: Finish times will vary and will be communicated on the day.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind all families of the importance of good attendance during this period. Consistent attendance and thorough preparation are key to helping students perform their best and feel confident in their progress. The purpose of these assessments is to identify what students understand. Staff use this valuable information to plan lessons and know how to support each student individually.
