Dear Parent/Carer
We hope you had a great summer and we would like to remind you of the start dates/times for all students.
We kindly request that all students arrive promptly at their designated arrival time, in full school uniform, equipped for the day and term ahead.
The information below outlines when and where you child should report.
Wednesday 6th September
The Academy will welcome all students in Years 7, 10 and 11.

Thursday 7th September
The Academy will welcome ALL students.

The front and back gate will be open for students arriving at 8.40 am but any students starting after this time will only be able to enter the school site from the front gate. Both the front and back gate will be open at the end of the day.
RAAC Update
As you have probably seen on the news some schools are having to close all/parts of the buildings due to concrete defects. To keep you up to date the results of the surveys that have been completed at Erdington Academy during the last academic year came back with no concerns. Since the announcement in the news last week, as an additional precaution further surveys have been carried out and the initial feedback is that we have no concerns. As such the school site will be open as normal.
We look forward to welcoming the students back to start the new academic year.
