Dear Parent/Carer
As we approach the end of the Spring term can I thank all the parents and carers that ensure our students are well presented and look professional and ready to work hard every day.
Can I also remind all that hoodies, pouches and sports footwear are not acceptable in school.
A full range of our uniform is available from Clive Mark in Boldmere and Trutex in Erdington, if over the holiday items need to be renewed. This information is also available on the website.
While this term has been quite short, we have had a range of exciting activities and opportunities for students to participate in, as the weather gets better, and the evenings lighter, next term can I encourage you to ensure that students get involved in the wide range of after school activities we have on offer.
Our new Vice Principal, Mrs Wright, started with us last week, with oversight of all aspects of the school regarding behavior and wellbeing. She will also be working closely with our Parents and Teacher Association (PTA) in continuing to develop this group’s fantastic work in supporting the Academy.
A polite reminder that parents should not park and block the Doctors in at Kingsbury Road Surgery because they need to have access to go out on patient visits.
Can I finish by reminding all that Monday 8th April will be a training day, the Academy closes at the normal time tomorrow, Friday 22nd March, and we re-open to all students at the normal time on Tuesday 9th April.
