Erdington Students Make A Wish – Charity Week
Last week at Erdington Academy it was Charity Week.
During their form times, students learned about four charities, what they did, and who they helped. The students then all took part in a student voice activity and chose to raise money for “Make a Wish”.
Students designed fund raising ideas and hosted a charity event after school. A range of “stalls” with food, drinks, ice cream were provided by the students, along with homemade arts and craft, badges, and necklaces. Students took part in Karaoke and the highlight was “Sponge a teacher”.
Thanks to all the staff and students’ efforts £723 was raised for the charity.
